I can't remember just now, but I do believe that all three Creature films were shot in Florida. But can anyone recall where each film was shot?

I've never heard that GILLIGAN'S ISLAND was shot at Universal, and I don't think it was a Universal show. But I haven't seen one in 100 years so what do I know. I'd bet no, though.

Whenever Jacksonville is spoken of, it was really a small town 20 miles south (GREEN COVE SPRINGS). The black lagoon was the mouth of Governors Creek. The creature's final walk was into the St. Johns River at Spring Park.

Curucu, Beast of the Amazon was apparently inspired by the success of Creature from the Black Lagoon. Imagine the Creature movies shot in Eastman Color in actual Amazon locations.
